ASC Feed Standard
The ASC Feed Standard extends ASC’s responsible aquaculture framework into the feed supply chain. It ensures that aquaculture feed is produced in a way that protects the environment, supports workers and communities, and safeguards the animals that rely on it.
Feed is a key input in aquaculture, and it’s production and sourcing can have significant environment and social impacts – from ingredient sourcing and land use to labour practices and supply chain transparency.
To achieve ASC Feed certification, a feed mill is assessed by an independent Conformity Assessment Body against all requirements of the ASC Feed Standard. The audit covers responsible ingredient sourcing, environmental performance, social responsibility and traceability systems.
bio.inspecta’s Centre for Seafood Certification team has extensive experience working within the aquaculture and feed sectors. Our highly experienced auditors understand the complexity of feed supply chains and provide practical, professional certification services aligned with ASC requirements.
With proven expertise across ASC standards and certifications implemented globally, our team supports organisations through clear, structured and credible certification process.
